Creek Equity is a private investment company in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. We found companies, provide early capital to exceptional founders, and acquire established businesses with the potential to become something larger. We invest our own capital, hold for the long term, and measure success over decades rather than quarters.
Build
We start companies ourselves. The idea, the team, the first customer, and everything that comes after.
Invest
We put capital behind founders and young companies we believe in, guided by a written investment strategy, and we stay close after the check clears.
Grow
We buy and partner with existing businesses and give them the capital, people, and attention they need to get bigger.
Our investment strategy
A sound investment strategy is the cornerstone of preserving and growing wealth across generations. Ours is a tailored, multi-asset plan that brings together allocation, risk management, liquidity, and governance, rather than chasing returns alone.
Values-based
Principle-based and mission-aligned. The purpose of the company is written into how we invest.
Strategic allocation
Capital is split into tiers with distinct jobs: core, growth, aspirational, and a liquidity reserve.
Risk management
Diversification, exposure limits, and defined rebalancing triggers, so one bad year does not undo ten good ones.
Liquidity planning
Reserves sized for operating needs, capital calls, and the opportunities that only patient, ready capital can take.

Our companies
The businesses we own today, and the ones we built or backed along the way.

Always looking
A new idea. A startup that needs its first real backer. A solid business ready for a second act. If you are building something, or you own something that could be more, we want to hear about it.

Why Creek Equity writes a one-page memo before every investment

Four tiers of capital: how a private investment company thinks about allocation
Core, growth, aspirational, and liquidity. Each tier has its own purpose and its own clock, and keeping them separate is what lets us be patient.
